Well, year one is in the books. The preverbial Haunt Cherry has been popped, and we are getting amped up to scare again this coming fall. Last season proved very successful for us, despite losing a few days to crazy weather. Our mix of haunted house, Dark Ride (on our summit chairlift), and outdoor top haunt really had something for everyone. We learned some valuable lessons and plan on some really creepy additions to our haunt this year. The transworld show in St. Louis is just a few weeks away, and we couldn't be more excited about attending again. I'd love to give a few hints about our plans for this coming year's haunt, but I'll reserve that until after the show. Last year, when I entered the trade show floor at the America's Center, my eyes nearly exploded. Booths as far as you can see in every direction, and haunters galore, looking for exciting additions to their venues. I felt like that kid in the candy store, undecided about what to purchase due to the overwhelming amount of choices. This year I enter focused and oriented to some great ideas that we have in store.
