Okay, so Oblivion Haunted House opens in Menasha Wisconsin in just 4 days! We have been working on the haunt for almost an entire year now! Its been a great process and so much fun building, painting, and detailing this haunted attraction. I can not wait to see what people think of us as we open and are in full swing with all of our lighting and sound effects! I have not worked on a haunted house since high school, and had forgotten just how much fun it is to work on such an event. However, having worked on Oblivion in the capacity that I have, with being there since the begining, the experiance has been a lot better. Being a Disciple means putting in a lot of work and time, and every minute of it has been worth it. We built Oblivion on little to no budget, working with what we all knew how to do best...build sets! Being from the theatre tech department has been a huge help cause all of the Disciples have had years of theatre experiance building and painting sets. These skills made it easier for us to use techniques detailing walls, and building all kinds of differnt rooms. We wanted to make sure that each space of Oblivion had amazing detail, and I believe we achieved that! Everytime you go through the haunted house there is something new to see. Our cheep but detailed attraction is sure to be a great and fun place for people to visit and get the crap scared out of them this Halloween! We open our doors to the public at 7pm THIS FRIDAY!
