The network selling advertising space.

Cool i was waiting for this topic but living near Chicago i didn't want to start the topic and come off as a huge bear fan. When i chimed in just now the Bears are at 100% of the votes.
Funny Vegas dosen't see them as the favorites (7 point underdogs)
The press dosen't see it either(all they report on is Peyton Manning!)

Best record in the NFL this year but still not favored! Ugghh

So my prediction is the defense of the Bears will be all over Manning and his receivers, Peyton will be throwing but he will be picked off many times.
If the Bears play conservativly and use the running game to chew up the clock and keep Peyton off the feild the Bears will dominate. End of story.

Will Grossman step up and be the super quarterback he needs to be,NO but then again he hasn't been all year so why start now. Really i dont think he ever will be a Montana or Elway. People who did are just fooling themselves!

If i lived in another state and was say a cowboys fan but wanted to pick a winner of todays game, i would pick the team with a lot of great palyers and not the team with a few great playes.
Go bears!

As far as advertising during the game. A girl won the chance to make a commercial through Chevy Corp. Their paying 2.6 million for her spot to air! Funny part is she's from Milwaukee Wisconsin. I bet she wishes her packers were going!

Da chili's in the crock pot...
Our GO BEARS! sign is in our window...
... the baby and I have our Bears shirts on (husband is wearing Green Bay jersey to spite us)...
... and we're just waiting for our guests...

PS: Wipp, please don't let those few IDIOT Bears fans who had those signs speak for the rest of us... MANY of us said... "if we're going to lose to a team - The Saints would have been the team to loose to..."

Da Bears!!!! I would like to see Manning go his whole career without a Super Bowl ring.

Hey Wipp,
I apologize to you for what the signs said in hopes you don't judge all of us the same. I would never be that rude to take a city's travisty and use that against them especially in football context. That is just wrong, what happened to New Orleans was wrong and the fact that it's taking our government that long to correct it is unforgivable.

My brother was at Soldier Feild for the championship game and he said the same thing about Saints fans very rude. BUT i asked him if it was his first bear game and his response was yes. I said it's the same with all the fans wether it be Green Bay or Oakland Raiders or The Saints, thats just a fan of any sorts, some are great wanting to enjoy and some are just donkey's about it. We had this conversation last weekend way before you even posted this.
I have been to many Bear games and you see rude from both sides.
Green Bay at Chicago five years ago i almost went to jail for pushing a guy out of his seat.

I had sat through three quarters of this guy and his girlfreind just talking mad crap in front of us. Final straw came when the guy dropped trow and mooned all of us behind him. The fourth quarter started and the Bears scored a touchdown and the guy stands up and shoves me back in my seat for cheering.(he was so drunk by this time!)

I in turn shoved him right back and he fell into the isle, security came and escorted me out to the midway. Half the row of people i was sitting with followed us out and complained to security why they hadn't done something about the guy i shoved.
Needless to say they gave me warning and let me go back to the game.

Ever been to a Nascar Race? Hah those people are brutal to each other! They hate each other

Please don't judge Chicago and most of it's people based on that, were a great football loving city and were dam proud of it.

Remember the Saints for the awesome year you guys had! In my opinion that was the Superbowl they just broadcasted it on the wrong night.

On another note.

I hate the press,period.

I love all the pregame festivity's but the press the last few years has been awful. They report on the most needless things and seem to forget the good stories.

There have been so many stories on Peyton Manning and his last chance over the last two weeks. I ask How is this Peyton's last chance? He has more time if he dosen't make it today and why only report on that.

So i wasn't going to watch the pregame today because of just reason, i didn't want to hear about Peyton all day. Well they fooled me and actually are having a great pregame show.

It's not all about Peyton! They actually did a great story on Walter Payton and Brian Piccolo. Kudo's for bringing back Walters story and letting us see him again in action he will be missed dearly! Actually im wearing Walters jersey today.

I was a little young to remember Brian fully, i do remember my parents watching Brian Song, must have been shortly after he passed. But the story today also showed what their foundations are doing for the world.

Piccolo Foundation has made great cancer breakthroughs and has helped save hundreds that might have died from the same cancer Brian suffered.

Walter Paytons Childrens houses are all over the country helping foster kids.

Great story
