NEED HELP on how to effectively light slat hallway

I've redone my slat hallway this season. Any suggestions/help on how to effectively light the hallway to get the best effect? Specific colors or placement of lights, things of this nature.

Bert from Minispotlight can hook you up with a sweet set up. He has done some awesome slat hallways with LEDs behind the slats, on a strobe/chase/power fail controller. Great effect with or without fog. Great shafts of light.
