Had a pretty good 1st weekend attendence wise and got glowing reviews. Yesterday had the local paper come out from 1pm-Midnight!! They are writing a major story on our haunt on a day in life of a haunt. The reporter took two notebooks of notes and the photographer took hundreds of pictures. Guess it is going to be a multi page feature!! :)
On a sadder note, had a mom show up asking for her 1st year actress cause a death of close family friend/surrogate grandma figure. Nothing like having to make that walk to your actresses room and trying to figure out what to say. Escorted her out but then after she heard, she wanted to go back to her room. got into the dressing room and just lost it in my arms. Not a fun way to end the night, poor girl...
Taking a couple of days off, then just a few minor repairs then a busier 2nd weekend, I hope
