I know in the past we found it by the yard or roll at fabric chain stores like Joanns. My #1 supplier was homedepot paint dept.

Home Depot sells cheese cloth? I had no idea that's great to know.

I just use a 50% off coupon at Joanns to get the regular boxes of Prym-Dritz. The cost has gone up so much over the years :/

Allan - That beef netting link is great!

Our beef tubing (netting) is a product that is widely used by many Halloween decorating enthusiasts to create spooktacular spider webs for both indoors and outdoors Halloween displays. Also great material in corpsing bluckys.
Corpsing BLUCKYS? that just sounds so... wrong.....HAHA

Beef netting is one of my miracle products- I go through two boxes a season. I use it for webs, curtains, costumes, masks, its really awesome stuff. I swear I could do a class on just beef netting sometime, I find a new use for it every day.

While I have not tried it myself, I have heard you can get similar results to cheesecloth (depending on use) with degummed hemp fiber. There is a great supplier I found that sells all sorts of hemp fabrics and fibers that are great for a lot of haunt applications:

Hope it is of some help.
