Ticket Sales - affiliate program

Does anyone use outside or inside sales reps to sell tickets. Kinda like an affiliate program, for each ticket sold you pay the sales rep $1.00 (or whatever amount). Commission based contract work.

We have done that as support to local fundraisers, i.e. fall ball softball teams, high school/college organizations, etc. WE give em more than a buck though...usually a 60/40 or 70/30 split depending on how many they sell. Great advertising for us, we make a few bucks and makes ya feel all warm and cozy too
