The antique hearse didn't get a ticket for following to close! (Officer Fife arresting...)
A 95 yr. old man told me the barn that used to be behind my house had two scary horses stabled in it. "They were huge and all black, they belonged to the undertaker, they pulled the hearse up Cemetary hill."
That hill is very steep ("Mount" Carroll) and the early road there may have consisted of some natural rock outcroppings helped by some extra gravel, not something I would like to have been negotiating on such a piece of historical equiptment.
