Can anyone help with some advice. I want to weather proof some props and scenery for outdoor use, some are cardboard tubes. Is there something I can spray or brush onto a paper or board surface to keep it weatherproof to protect against moisture?
Thanks

Fiberglass resin has worked well for me.

Allen,
Thanks. Is it commercially available and how is it applied?

You can get it at Home depot and it is aplied with a brush, after a 20 min cure time it hardens into plastic and makes a film on the piece to be proteced.
here is a quick video of the application (not one of mine- just so you get the idea)

Allen for MVP, thanks the video is great looks simple enough. I'm assuming it can still be painted afterwards?

Hit it with a spray primer first and it paints just fine.
