Ideas needed!

I have a neighbor who is trying to get rid of a huge wooden spool that is ruffly 5 feet high when turned on its wheels. It seems like it could be used as something cool in a yard haunt, but I can't think of what to use it for for the life of me. Any ideas?

the only things i can think of is to turn it into a chair or table....

Put it on about a 45 degree angle place on some chains and you have a torture wheel.

Can even put someone in a harness on it 'held' by the chains.
