View Full Version : Looking for an Animatronic Raven (Crow) or other small idea...

I am looking to purchase an Animatronic Raven
- It can be Air or Mechanical (like Servos)

I am also open to the idea of a Crow, or another possible animatronic which is very small (could sit on a branch of a tree for example) or on a ledge.

If anyone has any they are looking to sell, or if they have companies they can recommend, please let me know. I would greatly appreciate it.

Hey Robert,

That seems to be the project everyone wants to do lately when starting out. I've even started working on my own version in my free time, which I never seem to have. There are a ton of tutorials and walk thru's. Here is one that I posted on HauntersDigest.com - http://www.hauntersdigest.com/tutorial/interested-in-building-your-own-animatronic-raven-take-a-peak-on-how-haunt1000-did-it/

There are also this one that I will be adding to the tutorials area - http://www.halloweenforum.com/tutorials-step-step/113907-ravens-take-animatronic-raven.html

Hope that helps and good luck with your raven!

Dear Movie Relics,

Thanks so much for the info....
If you are interested in making a Raven (or if you know members who have made them interested in making one) then I would gladly look to pay to have that done.
My problem is always time (I have none of it left anymore).
Please have them email me at Rob@TheVillageOfDarkness.com if you know of anyone.

Dear Tongue Sandwich,

Thanks for the link....I will call them and inquire about a price. I appreciate it greatly. A pro option is not a problem, this Raven is for a special reason :)

If anyone else has anymore ideas, please feel free to post them, I appreciate the help.

FYI... Unit 70 is making me these RAVEN MEN... yes I know it sounds weird but I'm having them make full sized props of ravens that are like a raven slash human. Larry

Xanthar, I hear you. Time is always my problem. I never seem to have enough time lately between family and all my work. But sometimes you have to have that fun project to keep your sanity.

Larry, You have any links to that where we can see that or photos? I'd be interested in that.
