Making Monster Mud

I sure a lot of you guys on here have made monster mud before. I never have and I thought up of a great prop that I want to make using monster mud. Can anyone tell me the ways and ingredients to making MM. Thank you

I think it's just joint compound and latex paint! I am sure there are TONS of people who know ALOT more about this. -Tyler
