View Full Version : Advertising Thought...

I know some haunts are doing timed ticketing which helps throughput. Why don't some haunts advertise how long a wait might be on busy nights? For example: On busy nights wait time might be 90 minutes and if your NOT in the house by then your night will be FREE. Of course your ticket sellers would have to stamp/write every ticket with the time they bought tickets. Maybe thats a lot of work and probably wouldn't be worth it. Just a thought.

My wife sells the tickets and when we are real busy she announces the approximate times certain tickets will be going in to communicate this to our ticket holding customers makes everyone's life easier.
Some people will just walk away if they feel they have to wait to long, which is also all right rather than have angry customers in the house.
We tell people all year long that if you don't like to wait either send us money in advance for a reservation or show up here anytime during the rest of the year.."Duh?"
We are open almost EVERY night of the entire year and have been since opening almost 20 years ago. It shouldn't be a secret anymore!
