View Full Version : Reward System/Incentives for workers, Advice, Hints, Experience?

We had a great thread about drama queens and volunteers and paid actors and how to deal with situations. Now, can we great an informative thread going about rewards/incentives used by haunts, I know more of us owners use volunteers and are non-profits than are for profits. But any and all methods shared would be invaluable to everyone. Someone get us started!

A case of whatever they are legal to drink for a "P" ( pee, poop, puke. passout)
Has to be verified, though. And many of you will scoff that you have way more than that, but claims and verified are vastly differant.
Also, event t-shirts awarded each Sat night at wrap up session for special merit by the director.
At the wrap up party, special photo montague poster of the year and actors cameo shots. Also, gas cards and best buy cards.
Taking them to MWH in Columbus (used to be TW)!

Of the years I was cast manager - anything that made them stand above the other actors was good stuff, however - Event t-shirts are a huge hit! We also gave movie tickets, which were even better than t-shirts (the movie theater was our sponsor) If most of your actors are teenagers - what about free stuff from your vendors? Like a free meal, med pizza, energy drinks, things like that. We gave out 3 prizes per house for Fri and Sat. No matter what age though, t-shirts are the way to go. I suggest having "actor of the night" shirts made or there was a t-shirt place at one of the tradeshows had sweet graphic tees for cheap!
