View Full Version : I think I have Shane figured out....

05-03-2008, 06:50 PM
Now lets see who can figure this out(probably Kevin Alvey, from what I hear he's educated in these things)

Based on all of his post here I would say that Shane Dabbs is not a bad person, he is someone who goes over the top, it must be due to something he has experienced in life.

Answer me this forum, I say shane dabbs reminds me of Batman,(Thats based on all of his post here) So tell me why I think that and you will a GRAND PRIZE, that I can't tell you right now what it is.

Guess away, Guess away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Police issued a citation to Shane Dabbs for speeding on University Drive.

05-03-2008, 07:32 PM
What characteristics does Shane and Batman have?

05-03-2008, 07:35 PM
Wow I did not know that heck I have never even heard of University Drive. But hey I never said I have never had a speeding ticket. But I have never been accused of stealing. HauntedHouseNut I like you! Me and Batman are like businessman by day. Crime fighters by night seeking truth and justice! What do you think? Shane aka Batman

05-03-2008, 07:44 PM
Try again, why is Shane and batman so alike?

Shane! You and some 14 yr. old boy aren't mutual members in the "Men" in Tights Club" are you?
How people will talk! Even comic book Batman was not immune.

05-03-2008, 07:46 PM
I was hoping you'd have the answer

When my customers ask me if they can ask a question I usually give them a deal, "Only $5.00 a question!"...I may even then provide an answer!
"Is there a rest room in here?"
"Yes, and for $5.00 I will sell you a map to it butt the map is printed on toilet paper so you don't share it with your friends!"

We both wear crotch protectors? Shane Graystone

05-03-2008, 07:52 PM
Think more in personality traits

Jim Warfield
05-03-2008, 07:53 PM
If it is made by the company that made the "Living" Bra, is your crotch protector living too? What do you feed it? Miss one feeding and it turns on you, Shane becomes Shanna!

05-03-2008, 07:55 PM
good one Jimmy, another clue, it has nothing to do with costume indirectly

05-03-2008, 08:02 PM

But I think this is what your looking for

Did I win?

05-03-2008, 08:09 PM
Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moon light? Shane

05-03-2008, 08:09 PM
The biggest clue is in the opening thread

Jim Warfield
05-03-2008, 08:09 PM
Wearing a crotch protector does say alot about "Personality", doesn't it?

05-03-2008, 08:10 PM
There is a connection in the pale moon light

05-03-2008, 08:14 PM
HauntedHouseNut that my parents were murdered? That is something that should not be brought to a board. Shane

05-03-2008, 08:31 PM

They are both there for the good of mankind???? The fact is shane is most definetly a very good man, when you talk to him he is all about giving and trying to help everyone. I believe his anger is for the good but sometimes angers people because he stands up for what he thinks is right, i personally dont think this is a bad thing......lets think back to a moment in time like someone cutting in front of you at a store and you dont say anything(god that pisses me off) and you walk away steamming mad and just wishing you would have said just something. I think this is were shane is on the whole scareparts issue he refuses to just walk away without letting his anger out, I have always been the kind of person that lets my frustration out on this forum, would i have done it differently YES but shane is not me , he does it his way!! maybe?? or maybe not??? this is right by your own personallity but he does stir up a issue that angers alot of people about scareparts. So what do you do at this point no return phone calls, no answers to your problems and a forum who guts him for speaking his mind.I have personally never delt with scareparts, but as a vendor to this industry as far as screamline studios goes we only sell what we project we can sell, this may hurt us in someways but it does save face and we do have many repeat customers. so maybe we are doing something right after all!! I do feel sorry for keith his company grew way to big in a short time, however he was in the wrong for taking to many orders his company did not fill!!!!! These are just my thoughts...

Just some random dude

I agree that vendors shouldn't screw their buyers, and it really sucks when it happens. The problem is when it is constantly being forced down your throat. I have been screwed in the past (as I'm sure alot of us have) but I didn't bring it up everyday. I pointed it out to the forum and then spoke with others via email privately.

For the record, I still have an open issue with a major vendor regarding a very expensive animation breaking down early last season. I am working with that vendor to resolve the problem (they are very tough to get ahold of) not whining everyday to this board.

I posted a couple of times already that I fealt bad for Shane, until you see him complain every day.

GOD I LOVE THIS INDUSTRY whether it be good or bad,
we are creatures, who become creatures for our passion or beliefs!!!

We be "creatues of Passion", haunting, storytelling, scaring, entertaining others with our talents and strange energies or motivations.
I love being open with my house every night (almost) of every year now for almost 20 years! Infact I just don't even want to think what it must be like to ONLY be open for a month or two in the fall....I guess I'm spoiled?
Speaking with the potential customers before I even sell them tickets, trying to anticipate if any of them are all ready terrorized before I open the front door, hearing them react to the things I do and say, it's quite something this life I live.
I may be living my life in such an extremely focused way that my epitaph might come right out and spill the beans and say that I was a pathetic lunatic by common standards of success...but none of any type of a person writing or saying this could never know how incredible all of this makes me feel, almost every night.
I help some overcome basic fears they brought here with them. I inspire non-stop, eventually painfull laughter sometimes, hearing them begging me to make it stop!
I see bragging bullys reduced to shuddering little boys wanting "Mommy" by some of the stupidest little innocuous acts and mundane items imaginable, each and every instance an evil ego boost for me, I admit it. I am not "perfect" in any area of endevour, maybe this alone gives me pause to have real compassion for my fellow man?
Of course compassion for the plight of others does come a lot freer when we ourselves feel success and know accomplishment.

Hmmmmmm seeing how Ive buried the hatchet with shane, Ill throw my guess in here in typical Joker style, I will venture out to say, that our neighborhood dark crusader is a little batty. LOL

05-04-2008, 06:18 AM
LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO that I must admit was a good one. HauntedHouseNut I would like to add some VIP tickets to Graystone Manor for the grand prize winner.Shane

05-04-2008, 06:22 AM
Just a little Batty!

I can't believe no one hasn't figured it out yet.

05-04-2008, 06:30 AM
Shit, Now Im addicted to unmasking BATMAN!
Batmanís grim attitude often rubs his teammates the wrong way, but he earns their respect with his unwavering dedication to justice. As the 'ultimate human,' he's the team's problem solver??????????

05-04-2008, 06:32 AM
Yet another one, besides living in a CAVE,
He’s obsessively focused on his mission

Batman behaves like a dick. He manipulates and emotionally abuses those closest to him.” This does start to suggest mental illness, but it doesn’t really capture the whole of what is portrayed with Batman.

05-04-2008, 06:34 AM
Ok one more....
both are independantly wealthy fellows, with the inability to keep a girlfriend????????????

05-04-2008, 06:36 AM
Here we go, this is it!
Both batman and Shane are philanthropists!
give me my prize!!!!!

05-04-2008, 06:45 AM
he became a popular character soon after his introduction, and eventually gained his own title, . As the decades wore on, differing takes on the character emerged.

05-04-2008, 06:54 AM
He likes sliding down the BATpole?????????

05-04-2008, 06:55 AM
Someone hurry and win, because I can see Im just gonna get worse and worse....... with my guesses!

05-04-2008, 06:56 AM
Rob you got it right, Batman as a child was traumatized seeing his parents gunned down, with that happening shaped his psych into an acute personality, which made batman Obsess about eliminating everything bad.

Shane Dabbs, I can honestly say I didn't know about your parents, and I don't know you personally, I will say this however, something happened to you in your youth that affected the way you handle issues just like Batman, you don't stop till the job is done. It's not a bad thing, just a little over the top, you don't use a sledge hammer to drive a finishing nail.

Don't take it me wrong shane, I truly believe that you are a good person, just like Batman.

05-04-2008, 07:01 AM
wooohooooooooooo I won I won, Shane drop those passes off at my booth! Oh wait it wasnt for my BATPOLE entry! AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Many who put on a "Haunt" will have to overcome many other people's objections and ridicule, which may be non-stop and relentless criticisim, until you have hundreds of customers lined up at your entrance for a few nights, then you might see a 180 degree turnabout , now instead of being the village-idiot you are their hero!
Funny how "money" does that for so many.(especially when they are business owners hanging on to Your coattails!)
This might also be the same reason haunted associations see bickering?
I built the most popular man-made tourist attraction in this county and I still have to threaten and beg the city to put some blacktop in the potholes in this parking lot!? (They don't want me to do it)
You would logically think with all the pedestrians walking, looking up, gawking at my house that the city would be anxious to provide a smooth, trap-free surface under their dumb feet. (not "stupid "dumb", just uninformed)
