Tonight as I was taking people through the Ravens Grin Inn my Wife began yelling for me to come see her as quickly as possible!
Something must be very wrong!
The doorknob from the Spookhouse front room to our living space was rattling just like when it is being turned to open!
She thought maybe someone had gotten into the house?
I could find no one anywhere, the dog chained in the side yard was still there being quiet, he would have been barking at someone otherwise.
But then as I was leaving the upstairs later to close the house , the lights were on in one particulair upstairs room?
I am 90% sure I had turned them off.
Strange things happen here sometimes within a day or two on either side of a full moon. Tomorow it's full.
This is not the first time this door did something scary.
The previous owner had removed this door and put it in the basement.
Maybe for a special reason?

It was late when I first posted about this, I forgot to mention that right after this I returned to my four customers that I had left waiting, they were about to go into the wine cellar(the most haunted room here) and suddenly the surveilance camera for that room had a tremendous amount of audio static and an unseeable picture on the screen, like "someone" was waiting down there and didn't want to be seen until they were in the room and then it would be too late.
This has never happened before, usually that camera's sound reproduction is perfect.
I looked at the camera down there and could see nothing physically messing with it, like a big bug crawling over it or something simple like that.
The customers were creeped out by this. It was creepy.
Now I know how the local realator has been feeling when they are showing an old house and strange, loud things begin coming from an empty room they just walked out of creating a stampede of scared potential house buyers (and realator) out the front door!
This has happened more than just a few times around here recently.
No "Earnest Money" put down that day! And Earnest loved Halloween too!

Yesterday my Wife heard numerous footsteps upstairs.."Jim must be home."
She went to the bottom of the stairs and called a few times.......then she noticed the outside door behind her was locked.
"Jim must have left."
I came home about ten minutes later...I had not been home when she heard the footsteps!
I went upstairs looked around, stopped and listened numerous times, nobody anywhere.
I checked all the doors and windows.
No signs of forced entery or even any entry at all. (Cob webs and dirt do tell tales.)
For these last few nights I opened all doors in the upstairs to allow some cooler night air into the place. Now I closed all the doors.
Maybe this might help stop "someone" from sneaking around so quietly, or maybe the ghosty will have to work harder to travel around up there?
