What is the best most affordable way to obtain an LLC? I live in Texas, where do I need to start to get the ball rolling?

We did ours through Legal Zoom on line. It was the cheapest around and they were very helpful on the phone. Here is the link.

Good luck!

Be sure to vist www.SBA.gov for free business training. They also have FREE Online Training Courses at ...

Hope that helps. Eric, glad to hear legal zoom was effective. Probably much less expensive than hiring a private attorney. I was wondering how they worked for people.

I would also suggest getting Kelly's book! It's a HUGE and VALUABLE resource for this industry... you can get it here:

This book is STICTLY directed for the BUSINESS side of haunting... and is simply... awesome! Kelly included everything you need to get started into haunting including business plans, forms, etc. etc.

Legal Zoom was really great. I had gotten my registered trademark from them so when it was time to form the LLC I went with them also. They were WAY less than an attorney and they would call right away if we were missing info on the paperwork and they were timely and professional.
I would give them a try.
