View Full Version : Taking haunt photos

I'm trying to snap off a few pics inside the haunt, but the ones in colored lights without the flash on come out blurry. Can anyone recommend on a manual setting what aperture or shutter speed works for taking pics in dark colored lighting without a flash?

That is a problem I had, but was able to solve by using a tripod. That's the only way I've been able to get no-flash pictures in a haunt environment to turn out right.

Adam is absolutely right. You need a tripod.
The lighting conditions inside each room will determine the shutter speed and aperature, but you need a steady base for the camera first just so you can try different settings. Flash isn't the way to go either. Look at some of the recent photos posted on here for some great examples of what can be done with minimal light.

Thanks for the advice guys I really appreciate that. I was planning to use the tripod next shoot. There are so many really good pics out there and on this board, always wondered how they took them like that...
