I just saw “America’s Scariest Halloween Attractions” on the Travel Channel. Fantastic! The following events were featured:

- Eastern State Penn.
- Thrillvania / Verdun Manor
- Bates Motel & Haunted Hayride
- Hangman’s House of Horrors
- Fright Factory
- Pirates of Emerson
- Chamber of Chills
- Queen Mary

Throughout the show, Leonard Pickel gave his expert opinion on the events. It was an awesome show! If there ever was an example of national promotion of the Haunted Attraction Industry, this is it!

This is a GREAT show. Travel Channel also did a second one last year, and later this October will be the third one. I recorded both of them on my dvd recorder and plan to do the same this year!!

Below is a link to where you can view the forst one...

anyone know when 3rd one is playing

Anyone have a list of what events will be featured in the third?

The first one aired back in 2006. I'm pretty sure the 3rd one's airing on October 26th sometime that night.

Travel Travel has great stuff on all October. 'Halloween's Most Extreme' is another good one featuring House Of Shock, Fright Dome, Headless Horseman, and Netherworld.

If you go to the Travel Channel's website you can find the air date for the third one which I think airs something like October 24th at 11pm eastern.

I don't know all the attractions on this show but I know a few ...

The Darkness, St. Louis

Creepyworld, St. Louis

Bayville Scream Park, Long Island

I heard but I'm not sure they went to House of Torment, I have the complete list of attractions and I will look them up and report back.

They've also been showing "The Most Terrifying Places" which features the Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield, OH. They turn it into a haunted attraction every year.

I visited last weekend, and it is phenomenal. Scaredest I've ever been inside a haunt.

Hopefully Leonard Pickle isnt on there reviewing them again! LOL! That would be interesting considering who is on there this year. He might have to eat crow.

I know you mentioned a while back a show that you and some others produced, when and where is that airing?

Does anyone know of any other tv shows that will be airing that are haunt/halloween related?

I believe the Travel Channel also aired a show based on Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights called the art of the scare. I wish they would do one every year. After watching Americas Scariest Halloween Attractions I decided to make the 2 hour drive from NJ to Bates Motel last night it was so awesome and worth the drive.

I think I can do it for you, but I only can do with VHS tape, not DVD. OK with you? Please let me know. I will check Travel channel this week.
