I have a quick question, does anyone know where heckles and twitch get their jumpsuits? Are they custom made? If so who made them? Did they make them themselves ? Im just wondering because im looking into something along those lines for my own clown character, see if they got it made custome it would save me a LOT of time...and possible embarassment because im not exactly good with a sewing needle.

I believe their costumes are custom made. I've looked around the net and didn't see any suits of their caliber. Well, aside from a few chemical suits, but don't expect any variety of colors. On top of that, they can be very expensive. If you're not looking for the same plastic shine their suits have, then that certainly widens your options. There are costume sites that sell prison jumpsuits, NASA jumpsuits, and Michael Myers jumpsuits which, with a little work, could be made into a Heckle/Twitch-esk outfit. Hot Topic has a variety of striped clothes that you could use for the sleeves and shins. They even have metal spiked attire; shoes, wristbands, etc. Imosh.com has this too, but they also sell spikes individually and of different sizes. They also have some menacing gauntlets.

Actually i was kind of looking into the plasticy shine look because thats what really appeals to me about their jumpsuits. And im not talking about their gloves and shoes and stripes im just talking about the jumpsuits themselves. But i really appreciate the advice smiley, i will look into those things. But yeah if you could tell me where they bought their jumpsuits i would appreciate it.
Thanks very much

A weird as it sounds, you may want to look into some fetish clothing sites. Alot of places do rubber/latex suits, and some are open for custom ordering. Just explain your situation (its for a haunt, not for sex) and they should help you out.

I have ordered from these guys before, they do great custom work and arent to expensive. I use these in costumes all the time as it saves on airbrush time to just airbrush the suit as oppesed to the whole actor. they have pvc fabric and colors available also.

I know that most fabric stores (like Jo-Ann fabrics) sell vinyl and similar fabrics in a variety of colors. With the help of a pattern, a basic jumpsuit isn't hard to make.
Or for a bit extra, check out a local seamstress or theater costuming department. They usually are not that pricy, and can create a durable costume for you.

PVC fabric looks about the way to go...
The site above has MANY different colors and patterns and if you get yourself a pattern and a good tailor, you'll be in business!!
