Check out this new company... www.dream-scapestudios.com (http://www.dream-scapestudios.com)

This must be one of the coolest videos I've ever seen made to promote a haunted house product. Check it out! aUheQPNF-v4

I like a lot of their products thanks for showing us Larry.

Not to be critical but a lot of their stuff looks like the same thing that is already out there. Kevin with Gore Galore already has dudes with Birth Certificates. Oak Island has the tools and stuff just like they do. Other than looking like a mom and pop type operation it seems like they are very detailed about the work from the video..
It will be interesting to see what all they'll have to offer...

They were at MHC and are very cool people!
We ordered some stuff from them and are very happy!

I agree, there are new companies coming out, but there not coming out with a new product just coming out with something that's already out there.

I thought alot of the stuff looked pretty cool. Some things might be the same but maybe its better priced? The Hauntworld needs a little competition even in these days. Everyone wants to save a little money where ever they can. If they can price somethings lower than everyone else I will buy from them. They do have some decent looking stuff. And the humor in there videos makes you want to buy from them more. Who cares about a death certificate? I could print one of those out now. Who wants one Im printing them for free. LOL!

Far as I can remember birth and death certificates have been around forever, look at cabbage patch kids and pound puppies they had birth and adoption certificates! Who invented the wheel? Who cares, what I am looking at is the quality and price I dont care who has what or did it first. I cant wait to see some of their stuff in person.

I think the overall tone is here I've been seeing is downright mean spirited. SPFX masks posted some pics and they got jumped, I posted about a different vendor and they got jumped. Now I post about this vendor and they get mugged... what is wrong with people.

The information was to enjoy, take a look at, and review their website.

I think the video they made was really good, funny, and very creative!

These guys love what they are doing, give them a chance or DO SOMETHING BETTER YOURSELF! It was always funny to read about people ripping on some video we did or a magazine we published, or Randy's haunt tour last year in vegas, and well the list goes on and on... no one ever seems happy. Its no wonder why some people leave this industry with their tails between their legs and never come back.

With this new show in St. Louis a lot of different people are trying to lure new vendors offering all sorts of new and unique products that can give your business a HUGE boost! What are we going to do act like idiots when we see them, tell them everything that is wrong with what they offer, or what? Don't we want to see some new vendors?

Don't we all want more options? How can we encourage people to take those risks for our industry when we can't even be nice even 10% of the time.

I thought the videos were great and very creative. This company will be sticking in my mind now when I'm at Transworld because of the clips. You have to think if they put this much time and effort into the videos, the product must have the same attention to detail and quality.

I will definitely check them out. I like the tools they make.

Good job!

A critic is the easiest job in the world. Being a creator an putting yourself out for critique is the hard part.

LArry - what did I post before?!? A lot of naysaying, it kinda gets boring after awhile!

I really liked the first commercial. It was hilarious. Stupid in ways, but hilarious. My favorite part was probably when the two ladies were on top of the train at the park throwing the dead buddie back and forth and the one under threw, causing the dead buddy to smack the train. For some reason, I laughed so hard when I saw that.

DreamScape studios is made up of some nice people.
To be honest, I have given them alot of information to help them get started from mold making to suppliers and everything in between.
They also learned from other vendors.
And Brian, the owner, helped us with our welders. He used to be a robotics engineer at Toyota so when it comes to animatronics he knows his business.

I really don't think they intentionally did anything to copy any company. They are just new and do what they think would be a cool and a good learning process.
And anyway, you know what they say. Imitation is a form of flattery.

As a matter of fact,
Strapmouth is right, We got the idea of the adoption certificates from Cabbage patch kids. But we put an interesting twist on it by making them "Death Adoption Certificates" for the www.mypetzombies.com.

And I really do appreciate everyone pointing out who the originator was. It just goes to show that most people really do pay attention and I think it also shows that most would be loyal to those who they thought the originator was.

The only way that vendors that make product that is cheap, of lower quality, or are not innovative can survive is if buyers buy it. If you don't buy it, they have to change their ways of doing business. And that is nothing but a good thing.
So, continue being discriminating and you alone will be making a difference that increases the quality and innovativeness of this industry.

It great to see everyone talking about us. The conroversy, be it good or bad, makes people more interested in us.

Thanks for the comments and complements on our viedos. Matt Green helped us design these videos; and as with anything else, even his videos are not new concepts. But they are creative, innovative, and high quality.

We hope this is a reflection of our own products we believe our products to be high quality and innovative with our own twist. We hope that you enjoy our products as well as you did the videos.

Larry, thanks for posting the string about us. We are very much looking forward to meeting everyone in March! Booth #705!

Thanks everyone,

Lady I was intrested in your products way before the "controversy" your porducts alone had my intrest. I dont see what all the fuss is about I mean how many things can you do with a head or mangled body part? If you were to scrutinize each and every vendors product as to originality or design you would most likely find that they have taken "the wheel and made it better" or their own. Every product that I have viewed over the past couple of months from each vendor that I checked out via the internet had creative and intresting products and nearly all of it had been done before in one way or another. Weapons, body parts, life size props, coutumes and puppets could be found on every website, do I care which one of them made it first? No I am going to purchase the one that is of the highest quality and detail for the cost, sorry I am not going to purchase a "hum drum" painted piece because you were the "Man" that (thinks) he origintated it. Honestly quality is what we are all looking for but at the same time we want to get it at the best price (more bang for your buck), I myself am willing to pay a little more for your heads since they are more life like with the inserted eyes and teeth and not the "hum drum" painted on eyes and teeth. Oh should I have given credit there for the "Man" that pioneered that boring two dimensional techique?

The wheel only rolls as far as you can push it say the man with no arms.
