can anyone recommend a souce for scrim? I'm talking about the stuff that you can't see through until a light flashes behind it, if that makes sense. I only need a piece about 1' x 3' so I'm not looking to buy a full roll or large quantity. Any direction is appreciated!

It's not exactly scrim, but works just as well:
This IS scrim:
Scrim is EXPENSIVE... that's why you need to look for cheaper substitutes like nettings! It's all the same thing, hope this helps! -Tyler

Yeah man, I was looking for quite a bit of material I was VERY surprised to hear someone give me a price of 500.00 I thought hell that just blew my damn budget ! LMFAO, so, I found material that worked at local fabric store. I know its not "Really" scrim, but it worked nun-the-less.

If you can use white we have a nice very affordable scrim material
I did not realize it was not on the store since we did the conversion.
I will have to update that.
