Well there are a bunch of people posting events lists and such.....
BUT Adam here is the only one that I have found that is unbiased
No agenda.....just straight forward info about the happenings during TW 07

I guess I should be used to the ooops we forgot about Dream Reapers

I know Larry, I didn't send you a press release.....what good does it do?
Most people don't even read the small stuff till they get home.

With Larry guest acting and all you would think that this is the thing people want to attend.....LOL

The Bad Boys, a few of our actors and myself will be attending with our friends Tim and Ann Marie Gavinski from Morgan Manor! DO NOT miss this Haunt if you are going to TW! It is always and continues to be a highlight of our TransWorld experience!

We are finding out how much work it takes to open your Haunt in the off season for a tour and I applaud the Dreamreapers cast and crew for continually giving us a great haunt to attend during the show.

Take care,

"Off Season?"

Would that be the time of the year when you have had enough of the idiots and you tell them to !*%^&$# OFF!
How many haunters get to shovel out their outdoor pathways? That's what I have been doing most of this lovely day.

01-15-2007, 02:00 PM
Off-season , also known as the 64 days Jim is not open!

Last year was the first time I missed Dreamreapers since they started opening for Transworld, and I am still regretting it!

I am so there this year!

The list I posted isn't biased and there isn't an agenda. The list I posted if from TW the host of the show. Its their show, hence their list is the one I posted. As for your event, I did as you stated ask you for a press release. When you send me one I'll place it in the magazine.

But don't kid yourself there is no bias and no agenda.

PS: Here is the info once again. I do not have press releases from either you or Jim Warfield.

TransWorld’s 12th National Haunt & Attractions Show Coming Soon!

In just a few weeks, TransWorld’s 12th National Haunt & Attractions Show will open at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL and it’s a “must attend” event for exhibitors and attendees who work in the haunt and attractions industry.

The event runs from Friday, February 23 – Sunday, February 25, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Monday, February 26 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. This is a business-to-business trade event and admission is free to buyers with business credentials. “We’re expecting a great group of exhibitors and buyers for this show,” says Joseph Thaler, show director and president of TransWorld Exhibits. “Last year’s successful show helped pave the way for a bigger and better event this year.”

Buyers from a wide variety of haunt and Halloween-related attractions attend this show each year. They represent a wide variety of attractions large and small, from amusement parks & attractions, vacation & resort destinations, haunted events and pumpkin patches to family entertainment centers, corn mazes and theatrical companies.

On the show floor, exhibitors represent a wide variety of products such as props, animatronics, masks, costumes, lighting, special effects equipment, make-up, prosthetics, fabric paint & décor, gift & novelty items, haunted house designs and installation consulting services. Other products include sound and visual electronics, mobile haunted houses, educational & instructional videos, spooky music and sound, wristbands and visitor-automated tracking systems and haunt-oriented graphic and web designers.

Exhibitors & Buyers Create the Largest Haunt & Attractions
Marketplace Anywhere!

The Haunt & Attractions Show is located with TransWorld’s 23rd International Halloween, Costume & Party Show, the industry’s largest Halloween in the show, and nearly 10,000 buyers traditionally attend both events. Exhibitors and buyers won’t find a bigger or more comprehensive marketplace anywhere.

Event Is Open to More Exhibitors Than Ever Before….

Many of the same exhibitors – and quite a few new ones – will be on hand for this year’s show. And, new this year, TransWorld is offering an exclusive introductory program to first-time exhibitors. Called “Incubator Alley”, the program is designed for entrepreneurs who are new to the industry or new to exhibiting and want an easy and affordable opportunity to reach buyers. “After talking to many exhibitor prospects about what they need in order to ‘get off the fence’ and get on the show floor, we decided to launch this new opportunity,” says Mr. Thaler. Potential exhibitors can learn more about Incubator Alley at http://www.hauntshow.com/incubator.shtml or by calling 800-323-5462.

Seminar Series Targets Strategic Business Topics

The Haunt & Attractions Show’s seminar series is always a popular part of the week’s events. Held on Friday and Saturday this year, topics address a wide range of topics geared to educate anyone who plans, organizes and runs a haunted attraction. “We worked with a number of industry experts to put together a seminar program that would appeal to attendees of all types – from experienced attraction owners to people just getting into the business. We’re confident this year’s program will appeal to many of our attendees,” says Jennifer Thaler, vice president of special events at TransWorld.

I been pressing it down for so long that if I released it ...watch out!
The Ravens Grin will be open every night (as per usual) but the weather might not allow it, Feb. remember, northern Illinois!
I was shoveling snow from the back maze today, not much fun....
On the fun side of things I have been having alot of it lately! Quite a few have decided to show up here since Jan.1st, many "house virgins" drug in here by their supposid friends! hahahah! (and they will never quite be the same again)
Last night seven people drove for 2 1/2 hours , one way, to see my house, the weather had been forecast as rain turning to ice turning to alot of snow, and it did! All of it! Yet here they were, handing me money!
Only two of the seven had been here before. Towards the end of the tour they all began talking about returning to play Hide & Seek soon.
I guess I just created five new patrons.
