Anyone have any creative ideas to decorate some que line stanchions? I only use them indoors so they dont have to be weather proof. Was looking to buy some already decorated to save some time but I am having a hard time finding them, so I am looking on ideas on how to decorate my current plain ones. Any photos or ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Cheap Skulls drilled out to allow the stanchion to pass through would be one idea.

How about getting some skulls with spines that you could wire to the stanchions and then corpsify the skull and spine while on the stanchion.
Try www.mrskeleton.com
Call him and see what he can do for you.

Or how about just corpsifying the stanchions themselves and making them look like spinal columns.

I like the idea so much you just might find Skull and spinal column stanchions in our booth next year. LOL We have such a huge booth set for next year at the HauntShow in St Louis we might even need them to separate the different product lines.

I have done whole impaled bodies on stantions , they were just very tall so the bodies could not be reached.
If we knew the theme of your show then we could give customized answers for you.

Did any customers run away from just your impaled stanchons, they being too scary?
Were those impaled ones wiggling? Dripping? Moaning? Asking for small change?

they were for a house that the guests had already paid for, so the impression did not affect sales, some were scared but I do not think any did not go in due to the stantions, they were also not fresh they were mostly skeletal.

Great thread!

I'm in the process of designing our queue(s) this year. We're having 3 haunts that have lines:

1. 1970s Campground
2. 1800s Hotel/Tavern
3. Indiana Burial Ground

Would to hear any ideas!

Our haunt is called Salem's 13 Ghosts, it is a 3-D attraction. There are 13 scenes, each themed to tell the story of that particular ghost. The lobby however is not in 3-D, it is a castle theme, this is where the stanchions will be. Thanks for the ideas so far.

Here are a few link to some pics in the lobby.

I’m a big fan of animatronics telling stories. Maybe you can have one telling the 13 ghost stories. I think they are entertaining, It helps cut down on boredom of waiting in a Que line. The pics looks great!

When it comes to the Que Line Stanchions put these type of lamps in to make it look like a courtyard ,with flicker/candle bulbs in them. I like the idea of the skeleton parts as well.
