Okay, so as our design phase winds down, we still don't have that awesome POW effect/idea we want for our last room. The premise of our show is an old manor that is inhabited by the summoned spirits of the dead. Our title character is a little girl who is the cause of all the mayhem and her room is the last room. The rooms flow as a traditional house ie. bedroom, kitchen, dining rm, wine cellar, library, etc. Towards the end is where we want to start developing heavily with the theme. Any ideas we can do to give the customers the final bang for their buck without using chainsaws (because they have NOTHING to do with voodoo) would be greatly appreciated. In the past, like every cliche haunt, we've chased guests out with chainsaws but we are having trouble keeping with our theme and developing a good scare. Thanks!!

Make a voodoo altar room like this one
http://www.hauntforum.com/showthread...t=voodoo+altar You could even go black light for that room if the rest of the haunt isint. You could have a stilt voodoo god show up at the end, he could be sitting in a throne , then the lights flicker (maybe from black to regular.and he rises and chases them out

Thanks Allen H !!! I can always count on you to come through. Great idea with the black light...Darklight sent us WAY more UVs than we need so I can incorporate some there!!O'Shawn McClendon

You could do a camo scare...have the objects on the altar actually be a guy in a costume...I think that would be pretty easy in a black light setting. a Ghile suit drybrushed with Dayglo paint and the flowers from the altar on it. Hmmmm Ive never seen a black light ghile suit.
