I was planning on doing that. There is just so much stuff to know. Its mind blowing!
Thing is alot of that stuff is so damn expensive... Your better off making something yourself or modifying a cheap prop
I have been spending my days and nights trying to compile information on starting a haunt. I have read "So you want to be a Haunt Auntrepenure" (excuse my spelling) and I was wondering if anyone else...
Couldn't ask for a better definition of fear :D
Nothing is more horrifying than finding blood in your stool. Very gruesome idea jim :D
I feel the same, a good atmosphere can really trigger fear. Back in the day when I would work on The Forsaken Crypt late at night, in the dark and alone, I felt extremely uneasy and had to turn a few...
Very true I like the added humor. I would have to agree that the creepy atmosphere definatly adds more scares but I can't help but have this feeling when you see something EXTREMELY morbid where it...
Could be but also when its a very dark red with some black tint in it, it simulates blood in a large quantity
Agreed, Did not dissapoint 1 bit :D
I know this view point can change but I am really curious what you guys on here think is scarier. Does extreme blood and gore do it for you or does creepy, chilling, clean but more decay induce more...
How about you go to a surplus site and purchase some cheap scaples and other tools but modify them to make them safe for the haunt. Like dull down the tip and blade of the scaple. I found a site...
Really a whole isle for Halloween stuff? Must check that out
I assume you need to make airholes? If you just leave it as it is can you suffocate?
Wow Jim that has actually given me a few good ideas! I really like the "Dream" reference! I know I have a long way before I open a pro haunt but talking with pros like you really fills my idea meter...
I have been to many haunts in my lifetime and there are thousands of differences in the moody color scheme of a haunt. For example, colored lights or darkness, bright colors or dirty brown rotten,...
For the Forsaken Crypt garage haunt I used to run we used a frame of 2x4's and a 2x8 board of particle board. Each pannel costed a cheap price of $12.00. A board of ply wood is a few bucks more but...
I know this is coming from my experience from a garage haunt but yeah I agree, the more you utilize the tiny nooks and crannies of your haunt the longer it seems. I was running on approximatly a...
I definatly agree with the anti-military zombie idea for a memorial day parade. That seems like a very shady preformance for a MEMORIAL DAY PARADE. Maybe anyother parade would be somewhat tolerable...
Haha how about sleeping in a casket in your haunt for a night alone with the lights out. Bet that would be one hell of a time
ALot of people wont care but I just wanted to say this is my new account because the Forsaken Crypt garage haunt is finished till we go pro. This is still Matt :D
Im just curious whats everyone's favorite Midnight Syndicate CD to use in their Haunted attraction. Vote on it? I would definatly have to say mine is Gates of Delirium or Vampyre
my god that certainly isnt good
As soon as I move out I'm going to visit Alabama and check this out. I really admire the sticking to one theme and the theme you stick to is very grotesque and grusome. The commercial on youtube...
Totally cool
