When dealing with minors, there are different labor laws (they vary from state to state) with restrictions regarding curfews, etc. Also, with minors, you need to have their parents/legal guardians...
I love Ben Nye, but I also use Mehron and Graftobian (Graftobian has wonderful airbrush colors too that can endure a long night of acting and won't sweat off).
They have had email issues in the past and I find that Facebook is the easier way to get ahold of them.
We use Dayglo for all our 3D attractions.
Barrier Spray should be your best friend; I apply it before my makeup to help prevent skin irritation.
I'll be there! I'm teaching a class and will be part of the "Ask an Actor Trainer" panel as well. This is the first year I'm not vending, so I'm excited to actually get to see the show for once and...
Seeing my creations come to life and seeing how the crowds respond to them.
Agreed; I love the idea of a rat or reptilian hybrid.
Also a crazed homeless person character (tattered layers of clothes, scarred up face) could work well in that scene.
I can't wait! I'm thrilled to be acting at two of the haunts for the pre-tour and then HAM for the Friday night tour.

I also really like Graftobian; it doesn't sweat off and the colors are incredibly vivid.
I loved that she was shipping the combination of the rotting zombie and all the peacocks.
While I'm nowhere near ready to hang up my kneepads yet; I know from spending over a decade doing gymnastics & dance that you always need to look out for your knees. Always stretch and make sure...
I'm happy to hear from someone else that swears by industrial kneepads. I finally cracked one of mine after over 6 years of use and abuse; whereas I know many sliders that will burn through a pair...
Contact Ken Spriggs from Sinister Scents (he's on here as a member if you want to PM him).
Amazing looking as always Ben!
Any specific style or theme that you are looking for in particular?
I was 9 at the first haunt I worked at; a local charity haunt put together by the boy scouts (I was the only girl involved). I've know of plenty of actors that bring up their kids (let's face it,...
I've been sliding since 2002; so here's some things I've learned over the years:
Stretch & warm-up: Do this anytime you plan to slide (whether it be practicing or performing at the haunt); this...
