Polystrine is more 'forgiving' in the heat. We also like ABS because it comes in black, but if you over heat it, it will 'bubble'. That can be a fun texture, but not always.

Check around and see if you have any local places to buy cheap fabric. Luckily, we have a "Bleachery" near here that sells fabric by the pound. I find it cheeper to buy that and flame proof it...
I can feel for her. There are many things that only scare me if they TOUCH me... One evening, I was washing the dishes while my husband spoke to his friend on the phone. I reached into the drawer...
It's not nice to make fun of the people who didn't connect the dots.
Have to admit, I enjoyed the "We tested our crew and found large amounts of it in ALL the urine samples." *giggle* But we...

Good Lord! Those things are disgusting!
I like them alot.
I LOVED one that Ben did at Netherworld... very easy and inexpencive as well. Just a small, open room totally filled with fog and a strobe light. Gees! It was extreamly disturbing.
I do hope that everyone had a GREAT St. Patty's day! Personally, I had a blast going to "The Local" a small pub and performance hall on the North Side of town... drinking Guiness and Irish coffee...
I just keep thinking about a new 'room' idea. I got to play with some of those night vision glasses... they ROCK! A pair of those would be the only expence involved.
One pair Night vision...
Roller coasters. *shiver*
Of course, that's mostly because I suffer from Vertigo. All high places make me a little dizzy. I enjoy the 'speed coasters' - the smaller ones with lots of twists and...
We went to a Chiller show years ago in Arlington, VA. (The only time I know of that it came 'close enough' for us to drive.) It was kind of sad. There were more celebs than paid attendees. The...
It's wonderful stuff. 5 gallons joint compound to 1 gallon latex paint. While most people like to use black paint to get a 'grey' result, I use whatever Ace Hardware has in the "oops" department. ...
Yep. It was a great moment. There were several very good lines with rather long build ups... but all were worth the wait.
(There was only one "Looney Toon" moment when a fire bomb was knocked...
There was a nifty product advertised as "The world's scariest prop" at TW, can't remember their name, but I bet I can dig a flyer out if I go hunting. Their booth was way over by the wall near one...
Ok, I must not be looking in the correct place. I can't seem to find the sparking gloves on the GhostRider site.
Buy Kelly Allen's book. And search through the topics here. It's all been discussed fairly frequently.
Get a Morris Costumes book.

They don't make anything, but Morris destributes for all the most popular suppliers. Thier prices are just a tad over 'normal'...
Posted this review of 300 on my other forum right after I got home from the theater. Didn't know if you guys would be interested in a movie that didn't have 'haunt appeal.'
There is only one...
Heck Gwen, if you find something that will generate income through the year - tell ME! *big hugs!*
So... Like... was I the only one that was disappointed that the Dark Zone was so SMALL this year? I liked the fact that more things were out in the "Light" but was pretty unhappy about how few of...
Great Work! (Not my fave song - but I'm old) The Vid is cool and the costumes are very fun.
Just got the Okie-Dokie from Bob to post the link to his site.

Those are the pics he took of me, my hubby and - more importantly - the cool cemetary. Just...
And AMEN Sister Gwen! Us big girls need love too! It just takes better undergarments.
My photographer, Bob Edens, has not actually given me permission to link to his page of pics yet. If he says it's ok to eat up his band width, I'll post it. But for now - I had to 'snag' another...
