YAY!
Wow, ok if I may;
I agree with both sides. I understand that as a haunter you shell out a lot of money and expect to see results. I also understand as a vendor the demand is high and...
Wow..... that's just plain crap...
Then I would go with an air cannon or an actor using a skill saw.
I did a body parts shop once and the actor had a skill saw (bladeless of course) and beating a body part like a leg against the...
Snakes was the 1st thing that came to my mind, but someone already took it....
Other things that come to mind are cavemen (maybe warning of a terrible beast), animatronic pigme, falling...
This is a subjective question as it has everythign to do with the size of the haunt and the pricing. As previously stated you don't want to overcharge. Typically I aim at 20 minutes but I will...
So you don't want to use a chainsaw or you can't use one or what?

I have run accross a problem before where the FM brought in a decibal reader and stated it was too loud and OSHA mandates hearing protection etc...
NOW here is where I'm going to help you out,...
I suprisingly found some good stuff from Hobby Lobby today. You want stencils for wall designs? They've got 'em! You want a new air brush? Got 'em! You want ideas for wall decorations? Go to the...
Music to my ears
That's a pretty darn good idea (but I might tweek it a bit for myself)...

What!?!?! No lock out tag out?!?! lol.... at least they left you a note :D
I guess I have had good luck with the ones I have used...
I know I have said this before and some will probably get tired of it, but I'm a huge fan of getting a drama arts teacher from a college or high school to help with this. They always seem motivated...
Pretty sweet man!
Although I don't have any ideas for dialogue (mainly cause I suck at the acting stuff) I do have an idea for her room if you want...
Several years I have done a "meat locker" with great remarks. ...
Looking good though! All the hard work will be worth it and pay off when you are able to see your creations come to life and interact with people. Keep up the good work and good luck your 1st year...
Wow, sounds like you've found some great stuff! I'm going to have to give this a try. I'm so tired of putting walls up to the ceiling to keep out the lighting from other areas of the haunt. Thanks...
I posted this on another thread:
Just a side note about FMs. I know they mean well (usually) and they are ALWAYS safety concious but I also know they can be the biggest pain in the *** making...
Allen makes some excellent points. I think if an actor would crank it up when someone approaches it would be a really cool effect.... just my 2 cents

This is just my thought on this but I would guess there is an air cannon, fog machine, and a light involved. The fog is at the base of the cannon and the air cannon pushed the burst of fog out...
Try some of these sites below, you might find something that is under your price range that will work for you.
