I have used YouTube often in promoting actually. I have recently took many of them down to rework a few but it does help traffic.

The key is all in the title. It has to be kind of generic so it will come up even when someone does a search for say "haunt" or something like that.

But it does work. I have used it for contests, RFR commercials, and more. It doesn't take long and you actually forget it even exists. But once you put the URL at the end of the video hits do come in. Not massive. But for the time spent putting it up, its worth it.

Just my opinion.

Houdini's Water Escape is the subject of a paining I made that hangs in my front room. It sort of has a "Circus" theme, he has a clown hired to stand by and break the glass if necesarry, with a ciucus mallet but it seems the clown's timepiece was a sand dial and a big grain of sand (or is that corn?) got stuck, stopping the flow of sand, much time has passed, Houdini still hangs there, upside down, the water in the chamber has evaporated !
Houdini doesn't look so good anymore.
The clown still stares intently at the sand dial, really wanting to do this job right!

As far as the videos driving traffic to my site...not really. I never thought of using YouTube as a marketing concept. Does it really work? And if so, how can I use it as a tool?

I've added something like 6 more videos... I really like the Ravens Manor cool effects! I didn't watch all of them yet but I plan on it tonight!!! Check them out...if anyone else out there has some videos you want me to add let me know.
