My favorite movie monster is the bum from Mulholland Drive. One look from her and you die, plain and simple.

Leatherface may be a human, but Michael is immortal. He's been burned, elecrticuted, and shot but he always comes back. He's also incredibly smart and has superhuman strenght. Freddy is nothing without his powers. As for Jason, he's slow, stupid, and murders handicapped people. :P
