  • RFR's New Server, New XML, New Show....

    Good Morbidly Merry Friday Deadites,

Due to the overwhelming site traffic and number of hits the weekly Rotting Flesh Radio show has been obtaining, the server has been fully upgraded to make more room for the amount of hits the show receives weekly.

Twelve days ago we were hit fairly hard with hits and downloads tothe show, thus crashing the server and corrupting our XML/RSS Feeds for both iTunes and on the site. So we have corrected the feeds and upgraded our Servers to the maximum our provider allows making RFR faster, and more secure making room for even more Deadites to join RFR Each Week and Everyday.

In addition, we are currently working on a secure login as well for “RFR Deadites” to sign in and obtain exclusive Ringtones, Wallpapers and extended interviews. This will be set to launch by the End of January 2010.

Finally, now that we are at the final stages of our Server upgrade and Installation. We will launch the RFR on Monday with the newest Show, Show #195 on Monday. We will have very special guests GWAR stopping in, Gruesome Joe and the Musical Morgue, RFR Casket Crew Jim with Movie Takes, Haunt Industry News, RFR’s Katie Lane and Haunting by the Numbers, and the Continuation of our 5th Annual Morbidly Merry Christmas Celebration!

Thank you Deadites for being patient in this simple, yet very unexpected process. This goes to show us that RFR and our loyal Deadites are tuning in weekly, spreading the word and helping Bring the Haunt Industry Together.

So until Monday…Sit Back, Relax and rot Away…

    Rot On Deadites,
    Jonathan Johnson

Thank you in the humblest sense McZom. I do appreciate that.

I also know of many haunt people who work even harder.

      Thank you for the compliment.

Also, all-new RFR Dedicated server is ready today.
