  • Outdoor Fog Machines

Hey everyone, new to this forum and please excuse my huge list of questions ...

First is what is everyone doing to weatherproof fog machines for ourdoor use? We have a haunted trail and want to run at least 10 fog machines throughout but have never seen an outdoor rated fog machines and really don't want to have to run around picking them up each night or if it starts raining.

We have seen others using metal enclosures for the fog machines, but have no clue where to buy these. Any ideas?

Also has anyone else successfully attached larger containers for storing fog juice? Never seems to last the whole night.

    Thanks,
    Brian Smith

Get one of those bigger rubbermaid storage containers... black... flip it up-side-down and cover the fog machine; then cut a hole where the nozzle is and your done. Several theme/amusement park use this technique or something similar by making a wooden box. -Tyler

Has anyone seen the haunts that use metal locking boxes?

Black storage containers seem like a good solution.

Depending on the size you need, look up "Nema 3" enclosure in your search engine, you will see waterproof enclosures for electrical. BE WARNED, FOG MACHINES NEED VENTILATION! You will burn these out quickly without it.
