Does anyone know where to find circus sideshow banners, like you saw at the fair when you where a kid ( ex. the two headed snake ,usually on canvas ).

This company sells old circus posters, I have not checked them for freak show stuff.

I will dig around I know I found them once when I did a wrecked circus train themed trail.

Cheaper, maybe!
We actually painted them on sheets, gave the same effect. It will most likely be a lot cheaper if you have an aritst that can make them, on your staff. You can dye the sheets with tea, so give it an aged/canvas look, or you can buy canvas.

Harry:
I agree that you can probably get out cheaper finding a local artist to paint from historical reference. But...if you're a purist, there's an old poster artist named Johnny Meah who specializes in sideshow-style art.
His website is:

Not sure if he does customs anymore, but the artwork is certainly inspiring!Nick Collins
