I'm currently working on new tunnel ideas that we are adding to our trail and I'm looking for some great ideas to roof these tunnels. They're going to be built around august and stay up until the end of October; so that means i need a good idea to protect them from possible rain at times, but still somewhat not burn a whole in the budget. open for any opinions thanks

A simple arched roof can be built with PVC and fittings from this site.
      http://www.simplifiedbuilding.com/pvc_fittings.php
Build it the right width and cheap Black rolled plastic can be the roof Do have an exit every 75 feet.
And Speak to any authorities you need to about the Plastic rain cover. You may need to go with tarps and in that case I recommend Harbor Freight.
