I am having a haunted attraction for the Childrens Heart Foundation this October in Altoona Pa. I am starting from scratch. I am seeking donations from family, friends and co workers. I am a police officer at the Altoona Hospital and we employ about 4,000 people. I have asked them for at least a $20 donation and have raised 1,000 in 2 days. After I have exhausted this option I am going to area businesses for sponsorships. Does anyone have a letter or something that they send out to businesses to attract sponsors that could help me out? The reason I'm doing this is because my son has several heart defects , has had 2 open heart surgeries and coming up on his 3rd on March 23rd. This organization is deicated to research and education for children with heart defects. Without CHF my son may not be with me right now. This is why I need to do this, to help my son and children like him. Any and all information would be a great help.
