  • ScareZone Help!

HI, we have a huge scarezone @ our haunt and this year its even bigger! I wanted to know if anyone had any ideas or tips as to what would help the area out! (We have sliders, fog, lighting etc..) What i am really looking 4 is some stuff to put in the pathway of the guests, 4 monsters to hide behind.....We have 2 SZ themes, Western Town and a Swamp.....any ideas??? Thanks

Thanks for the reply, we do have barrels/crates, and hay bails in the western section, and i am trying to make a couple trees for the swamp, any cheap ideas on how to make some, ( im' thinking of just making some PVC stands and draping cammo netting over it...) any thoughts/other ideas? thanks

everyone's idea of "cheap" tends to be a little different, but pvc and camo net would probably be your cheapest. Or if you are handy with and have a welder, use some thick wire, bent into tree and branch shapes, then cover with great stuff (with maybe some kind of netting wrapped and tied around the wire to help the great stuff stick to). Paint brown and grays and throw some moss or foliage here and there.

Slighty off topic but have you considered alternative forms of entertainment for the Scarezone?

I've worked with these guys before and they are always a crowd favorite. I think they're local to you. If you email the Rev, tell him Badger from NC sent you.

Nothing beats a good set of freakshow/carnival-sideshow style actors who can do all the grossout stuff for crowds. They can also provide great distractions for your monsters...

          Back on topic...
