More Folklore Pictures
Yes, we are doing a one-house event. We didn't want to tackle a multi-event haunt in our first season.
I apologize for not posting pictures in a while, but you all know how busy we get building these things. I have been taking photos, but I haven't had time to post them until now. Enjoy, and I will post more in days to follow:Dewayne Anglin

Detailing of wood
Coasterfreak,
We are very fortunate to have a lot of friends and family with constructions skills. One of those is my Dad, who is retired. He has never been inside a haunted attraction before, but he is having a blast trying to trim out these crypts! My son never knew he even liked to build things until he started trying to create unique trim pieces for these crypts, and now he is hooked!! Since we spend so much time away from our families while working on our haunts, one solution is to get them involved so they have fun too!!!
Instead of buying expensive trim pieces from the hardware store, our talented group of guys (Ricky, Andy, Bill, Nathan, and Don) have started making their own unique trim pieces, and I am blown away by how great they have made the sets look.
My family took a trip to Sleepy Hollow, New York a few weeks ago, and we spent two full days (and one moonlit night) walking through the above ground burial vaults at the Sleepy Hollow Cemetary. I took hundreds of pictures of them for inspiration, and I knew that I just had to find some way of building some of these crypts in our above ground cemetary. Luckily, our guys looked at some of the pictures as a guide, and now I can't get them out of our cemetary! They are having way too much fun building these.
Here are some more pictures of the crypts:Dewayne Anglin

And there's that huge wolf in his new home!! That was fun watching you guys get him out of the conference center!
It's all looking really good folks! I remember our 1st year and how exciting that was doing that 1st buildout. Keep up the good work!
