  • From a former St. Louis resident

For those coming to Transworld who aren't familiar with the St. Louis, here are some tidbits of info to help out, especially with the craziness of the NCAA being in town.

The Edward Jones Dome is right by the America Center, so the crowds will be huge. The games are Friday and Sunday I believe so Saturday should be a relatively quiet day in comparison. If you are driving in, be prepared to fight for a parking space if you arrive later than noon on Friday or Sunday. Parking vendors will more than likely raise their rates way up, so $15 parking is possible. Since the Dome is next door, people will park wherever they can, so I wouldn't be surprised if the America Center lot is jammed full.

If you happen to have a hotel outside of downtown St. Louis, you might want to consider riding the Metrolink into downtown. It will drop you off about 2 blocks from the America Center and may save you the headache of finding a parking spot. There are maps of the Metrolink routes available. Just Google St. Louis Metrolink and you'll find it. When we come up this weekend, that's what we're planning to do.

    Can't wait for the weekend!

Well I don't know the guy personally, but I believe his house is in the Eureka area just outside of St. Louis. Hidden Valley Country Club. Are ya gonna stalk him?
