Nothing is ever as good as the FIRST one. Although, H20 was pretty good.
Maybe my love of the first one comes from the memory of going to see it with my High School boy friend who was scared to death. He was visably shaking when we came out of the theater. He was white and a little sweaty as well. I was laughing at him, which only made him angry. Apparently, someone else in the theater caught on to how 'shaken' he was. As we were getting into the car in the dark, mostly deserted parking lot, he opened the door for me and then walked around to the driver's side. I saw the other person approaching the car and said nothing. He got behind the wheel and this guy JUMPED on the hood, smashing his face against the windshield and slapping his hands on the hood and top! I thought my date was going to Pee his Pants! I was laughing so hard I couldn't breath.
Yeah. I'm a haunter. That relationship didn't last to long.
The child is grown, the dream is gone.
I have become comfortably numb.
