Enduser needs a 5.1 ready computer or a 5.1 surround sound DVD player.

To use a 5.1 surround sound DVD player you must burn the files to DVD using a DVD audio burning program.

I installed one of these tracks into a dark section of a haunt last year using a $200 dvd player/surround sound system. It was super creepy as the sound and creatures jump to different parts of the room. Very awesome Virgil.

Gadget incorporated Virgil's 5.1 sounds into our Carriage House attraction in a blackout area and let me tell you... it's CREEPY! The music and the whispers seem to move around you. It's freakin AWESOME!

Samples are going up tonight. They are in stereo so, while they're
still pretty cool, you don't get the 5.1 experience.

They look like embedded Windows Media Player's so it could be an issue with you having a mac?

Yes indeed. My web guy told me that, unfortunately, the
only player we have access to right now is not Mac friendly.

I'll be working on an alternate player for our Mac friends.

That way it will work with PC or mac...

These sound really cool. Last year I used three 5.1 setups running off a few laptops running AC3 Filter which encoded it to dolby Pro Logic on the stereo outputs. I originally mixed my own sounds using Soft Encode 5.1, but I think I may try I few of these this year.
