Then there is the other historic Werewolves, teenagers just like in the news story except armed and set on a mission to kill US soldiers in Germany at the end of WW2.
Of course it didn't always happen like that. My old neighbor was one of many US soldiers riding on a Sherman tank going through Germany, a kid stepped out from a hiding place holding a machine gun, pointed at them.
He was shot within the blink of an eye, probably dead before he hit the ground. My neighbor said, "Somebody on the tank shot him, it might have even been me? It all happened so fast."
