Do you have another Amp to use?
If so it needs it be at least 1000 watts.

i have an car amp from an old sub i powered back in the day... Could i use that?

Most likely not because a car amp uses 12vdc intead of 120vac house current. In theory you could use a car amp but you would need something like a 100amp 12vdc power supply to run the amp. Yes it can be done, is it reccomended, not really.

You can however use 1000 watt live audio amps which you can sometimes pick up for cheap on places like craigslist and ebay.

Frightprops sells a transducer for $330 which is pretty good for the price it's at. Most pro-dj amps will cost around $200 for 200 watts and go up from there. The thing that the transducer will do for you that most other amps won't is that it has a built-in crossover to eliminate the high freq' and just give you the earth-shattering bass.

QSC RMX 1450 in bridge mono will make them rumble nicely. We also developed a specific waveform for the butt kickers to get even more out of them. It's a heavily degraded 50Hz wave. Give me a shout if you want the file.
