  • Haunted Ozarks -- Our first year begins!

This will be our first year as a professional haunt and we just launched our teaser trailer and website this morning! We are extremely excited and can't wait to see what's in store for us. (the good, the bad and the hideously ugly)

Check out the site and let me know what you think!

Website looks very professional, I don't know if there is a button to actually go into the website, if so I couldn't find it.

Congrats on your new haunt though!

Thanks for the comments! At this point, it's just a teaser splash page with the trailer. The full site will go online towards the end of July. But more content will be added on a regular basis.

We're going to be inside this year. We've secured an agreement on a 10,000 sq ft warehouse and I'm now jumping through hoops for the city which isn't too bad. I've known a lot of the people involved for a while so they're going easy on me. Until we move in, we're building inside a workshop and filming footage for the video portions of the haunt. Hopefully we'll be getting into the building in the next couple of weeks!

If you dont mind i would love to pick your brains on how to present a haunt to the city. I am currently running a haunt for a non profit group right now and its going on its second year. I took over this year and all i had to do was make a call to the city and they extended the permit. No presentation needed. I will be going at this from a profit standpoint next year. PM me when you get a chance, if you want.

Keep the thread up to date and we will be watching for pics

                  This is our building

This building wasn't our first choice, but it will work well all the same and the price is right!

Very cool. We've been doing a lot of work in the Branson area and would love to see your haunt at some point.

well it was labor day and

I was in the Branson area so I figured I would try and track this new haunt down and with very little effort I found it. I wandered in and could see the makings of a great haunt and voices echoing from within I approached cautiously with a hello. Which was eventually answered with a very kind hello and after introductions I was taken on a great tour of the house by I believe Joe( forgive me if I got that wrong long weekend and bad with names) the house is coming along quite well and looking splendid. They still got some work ahead of them but its gonna be great gonna be some good scares in there. thanks again for the tour It was nice meeting you and the best of luck this season.

Thanks for the kind words! We're always open to visitors. I've met some great people from this forum. We do indeed have our work cut out for us and sure hope we can pull it together in time, but I have faith in my team. Hope everyone else's haunts are coming together as well.
