  • Drunks

I find it so interesting that haunters will complain and complain about drunk customers and how to handle them but don't think twice about getting trashed at the Friday night fashion show and then loading onto a bus for Dreamreapers.
Pain is just an un-avoidable side effect

How about taking the time off, spending the money, going to see a trade show for fun and profit, then obliteratting your brain, making it dulled and stupified to everything you just invested in?
      Go figure?
I always figured the haunted house drunks were maybe scared or in danger of seeing their ego degraded so they go in drunk.
Maybe the same is the case in this scenario?
      hahahaah!
      Admit it, they are scared!!!

Hey as long as they weren't swinging it was ok!!!!

I am proud to say.........we had NO ISSUES THIS YEAR!!!!!!!!

I behaved and waited both nights till I got back to the Crowne (midnight) both nights to start drinking.

I am dragging today...slow very slow!
Gee could it get any better than this?

I second that. Dealing with someone drunk and dealing with a drunken IDIOT are very different.

Visitors this year we've very respectful and a LOT of fun. There is no better time to act at a haunted house than during Transworld!!

Hot DAMN I had a good weekend!!

I'm not sure how I could handle going through a haunt while being drunk. I'm not saying that I would act a fool, or start swinging or anything like that. But while at the crwne both nights, while drunk, I could barely walk to the bathroom on my own. I don't see how I could handle walking through a 7000sq.ft. haunt.

All in all, this was our last chance(at least for a few years) to enjoy a Fri. or Sat. night at the crowne as a group of haunters.
I felt like it was our duty to make Sat. night legendary. A night we'll all remember. And I know the crazy group I was with(all of us from Texas) and some Tennessee'ans had the time of our lives.

In my opinion it was legendary!

As far as getting drunk, yes there were some. And in a way, I felt badly for them just because I knew they were gonna suffer for it in the morning. But, I'm not their judge or jury.
Heck, I drank quite a bit myself, but I'm one who can handle my liquor well. It takes me more than most. Ask Tatoo....it took me 7, count them.....SEVEN rum and cokes to get me to sit in the train museum. Drunk...nope.

It had never entered my mind that you may have problems with any of us being drunk or that there incidences may arise. I'm glad to know all was free and clear -- this being the last TW in Chicago.
