  • Any idea on this??

Last year we bought a "Shuttle Van" to transport customers too and from the ticket line to the haunt. It worked out great but we ended up having to also use a Sheriff's Office Inmate Transport Van which turned out great for the asylum part of our theme.

We bought this second one pictured below when the season was over to give us another vehicle. We are thinking "ICE CREAM TRUCK"......so could any of you throw out some ideas???

Already have the ice cream truck tunes and some of the graphics figured out.......

    Anyway, thanks!

You need to play with the colors a little. Google some images for scary or creepy ice cream van. it will need the speaker on top as well. Here is a pretty good one:

This is the only picture I could find of our first one. In this picture it is not completed.

          Sponser Money?

From Orkin! Make it a pest control van complete with a big bug on the roof, of course the driver would be made up to look like a big bug who just took over the captain's chair and is on the run!
          OR
A hospital van (Large letters) "Organ donor program= (small letters)
"Glad to see you all signed those donar cards for each and every molecule of your previous living body."
"We just need a couple of small parts for now, a finger or two, an ear to start with, no biggie!"

You might also rent rides in the off season as a joke for people celebrating certain things......I have done this.

Coroners Van came to my mind. Actually the first thing that came to my mind was an old 70's style decor van with a dragon painted on the outside, "out of sight" painted along the front and leopard print inside, but hey I am just telling my age.

The ice cream trucks in my area have a bunch of stickers on the side with a picture of easch ice cream, the name and the price. E.g. Eskimo Pie, Fudgecicle, Bomber Pops, etc.

You could make up some of these in your computer with gross pictures and names and print them on decal or sticker paper. How about Frozen Fingers, a real Eskimo Pie, Chocolate Ears, etc.

Gotta watch those Ice Cream Men!

I was 11 yrs. old, visiting cousins in Rockford, Ill., riding bikes around the quiet neighborhood, one boy said, "The ice cream man ran over me!"
                  "No he didn't!"
"Yes he did!" He then pulled up his tee-shirt to show us the tire tracks across his midsection!
The ice cream man peddled a three-wheeler with a cold box at the front.
(But still, how in the hell did the kid manage to get ran over by that?)

The ice cream man must of been peddling down hill. I imagine his brakes were worn out from the freezer. I doubt if he could peddle up any other hills. LOL!

I saw it with my own eyes!

Rockford, Ill. is pretty flat in that part of town too. The hill/brakes worn out was a good possible explaination. the kid under the tire was a stupid kid, kind of rammy and aggressive he maybe helped it to happen somehow.
