  • UL Approved Lighting

Does anyone know of some good haunted house lighting to use that is already UL approved?

    Thanks!

Our power supplies are UL listed, the lights themselves operate at 12VDC and thus don't require it. We have had fire marshals, electrical engineers, and techs all over our products and the EH-16 and EH16-DMX are even shunted for near miss lightning strikes and high voltage static discharge. The devices are currently being used in theaters and theme parks where that was a concern hence our choice of power supplies. Our system is extremely easy to use, I often put it in the hands of children who want to help and in the same breath the fact that there are battery powered options, built in flicker effects that are of Hollywood quality and even DMX control options if you'd like to sync up light changes, sound, and animatronics makes the system very flexible for the professional set builder, prop builder, or lighting designer. Check out our website and watch the demo video and if you've still got some questions please feel free to e-mail or call.

I'm happy to say that we will have UL approval for our line of Precision X, Y, and Z LED spotlights approximately July 2011. We'll make the announcement once it is listed.
Although power supplies are REQUIRED by many fire marshals to have UL, the stricter ones will ALSO require them on the actual light fixture, regardless of them being low-voltage. This varies between cities.

Lastly, professional venues such as theme parks will require UL on all components (lights and power supplies) before any purchases they make.
