  • Horror/Porn films - OK or NOT?

I didn't find anything to post this, but thought it would be good idea to post right here and share this feedbacks from all of you guys and gals, too.

Anyone know or anyone been there to horror/porn films before? Which has a lot of blood, gory, sexual violence, torture, sadism, anything goes, you know?

Please post it here and I'd like to read more!

    Thanks.

Is this really the place for something like this?! Buy some old Ed Wood movies. Like the later ones before he died. He supposedly crossed the line in that way. Never seen any of those. Ive got Bride of the Monster. And Plan 9 from Outer Space.

          Ed wood

is the king of cheapness! his special effects, cheap acting, cheap dialog...... total camp to the max. must see! laff riot! Rent the movie "ED WOOD" starring Johnny Depp. That will give you the total ED WOOD experience. Also, Bride of the Monster, Glen or Glenda, Plan 9 from Outer Space.... check those out. great stuff !

But wasn't the real Ed Wood just torturing his audience by providing them with all those bad movie things? Torture as defined as inflicting physical pain and duress is not something many people would like to see unless it was against some Very nasty villian who really had it coming, and usually such villians are fictional. No "grey" areas of doubt allowed for the audience to ponder, sort of like the "Killem All" bumper sticker that really never should be practised.. because maybe some of their women might be cute? Sure. hahahaa!
I have wondered sometimes if maybe World War Two was just an exercise in frustrated male sexuality?

I cant believe Im going there

There are several possibilities........ One that comes to mind is the movie "cannabil holocaust" The italian director actual spent over a year in prison over it.
The japanese based guinea pig movies "the devils experiment" "flower of flesh and blood" etc.... Let this be my disclaimer I would under know circumstances suggest watching these movies they are extreme in every since. I watched them because I wanted to see what could actually get movies to be banned and all I can say is its nothing you are going to tell your momma about.

Ed Woods movies were pretty bad. But later became cult classics. The films he made shortly before he died could be considered more Horror/Nudie films. No something you would could classify as Horror/Porn. He did this to maybe make more money or get more popularity. He never really achieved anything till after his death. Maybe if he could have came back from the grave he could have?! I can say I enjoy watching Bride of the Monster, Plan 9 from Outer Space and Glen or Glenda.

                    Sometimes Impossible

To Un-Watch a movie scene that proceeds to stick in your mind's eye.
Like having a song stuck in your mind, replaying itself over and over.......
                    Un-ring the bell.

You are sheltered my friend...lol (just messing with you). On the same kind of story...what about Frankenhooker? There is much more sick and twisted stuff out there though. I give most horror related stuff a chance...but I've found some really messed up stuff. Instant cue and suggetions on Netflix bring up some interesting finds. There are many films I wish I could just un-watch...but as Jim said its just not possible.

Had a similar discussion on this topic with a friend and learned there is a "genre" many refer to as "torture porn" where in essence there is nothing necessarily pornographic about it, but it is so graphic in nature and psychologically twisted that it can't be described as strongly any other way. Look up the Guinea Pig Collection (such as A Flower in Flesh and Blood)...a very hard watch...but the effects are almost disturbingly realistic at points....apparently Charlie Sheen reported them as snuff films upon seeing them in Japan.
