  • Where to get the best fake blood

I am working on my gore room and need to dress the set up with fake blood. Just wondering what vendor you guy's would recommend? I looked at Pale Night but was looking for some insight from the pro's. Thanks.

For a permanent application , one route to go is rustoleum gloss burgundy. I used that a while back for a gory scene and it made it look nasty.

We've used Fright Props fake blood for most of our bloody scenes. Dries fast, affordable and looks real

Perma blood is great for indoor use or if you want to put it on clothing it wont fade on a white t-shirt like paint does. For outdoors or larger areas I would suggest using a paint mixture as well. Perma blood turns brown and looks pretty bad if it sits in the sun very long.

                Hot Blood

I used some Hot Blood for some props I made this year, stuff is awesome, its thick and looks wet all the time, they also make Hot Glow that glows and looks like slime. Hot Blood is easy to use, just put it in a glue gun or old crock pot.

Perma Blood all the way. As Damon said - just dont put it outside.

Thanks for the help Guy's! Much appreciated! I ordered from fright props but I am sure I will need more so I guess Permablood is the obvious winner.

There are lots of things that can look ok including oil based paints, other bloods on the market, but have yet to see something as cool as Pale Night's Perma Blood. I know several Hollywood and general FX pro's that swear by it!
