Are college students into going to our haunts?

  • #2
Absolutely!! Why wouldn't they be?! I'm a college student and my friends and I look forward to visiting as many haunts in a season as we can.

I think the main concerns with college students are cost and time. Make it cost effective (have a discounted college night) and try to get college students out on Thursday or Sundays. The fringe haunt visitors aren't going to necessarily give up a Friday or Saturday night of going out with their college buddies to visit a haunt, but if there's a discount on a Thursday or Sunday night when they might need a break from studying you should see a spike.

        Ages 12 thru 18

Middle school thru high school. Most disposable income ever. (for fun stuff) (mom and dad give them the $$$) target age group. They do the most talking. If your haunt is great, you're in !!!!! Repeat business also. Once is never enough!!!!

We do shows for every age group (but not every night in October) This afternoon two couples were outside looking at the house, the one couple were here a few years ago in December with a 15 member family group, including Grandma @ 92 years of age!
I told them about a family that checked a Grandma out of the local nursing home and brought here through here (Trying to inherit the farm alittle early?) (The poor old woman kept asking. "Where am I?" What is this place?'
This put an new idea into the man standing there before me:"We could bring her back here again!" (The 92 yr. old Granny) ,this might solve your problem." He revealed as he stood looking at his Wife's face.
"Yes, it might. " She said seriously.
At 92+ she can't qualify as "Youth In Asia" can she?
Too feeble to ever travel that far.

              If It Was 1952 again...

What? 3 Tv networks, a great many fewer radio stations, no extremely small, portable personal entertainment systems or computers, no texting.
How many different ways and places to see or hear about a product are there right at this very moment?
It makes for more confusion .
If you get a sniper rifle with a scope...anyone can be "Your Target Audience!"

I would say that 15% of our customers are college age. We designate one night each year to our local university. Last year the college offered free bus service to and from the haunt. It worked out, we had a great night.
